Empcogliptin 10 mg/5 mg film-coated tablets

 Empcogliptin 25 mg/5 mg film-coated tablets

Empagliflozin works by inhibiting the sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT-2) found in the proximal tubules in the kidneys. Through SGLT2 inhibition, empagliflozin reduces renal reabsorption of glucose and increases urinary excretion of glucose.

Lower fasting blood sugar

Empcogliptin has been proven to lower fasting blood sugar (the measurement taken before your first meal of the day).

While not a weight-loss product, people taking Empcogliptin lost a bit of their body weight on average.

Based on empagliflozin is an oral medication dosed at either 10 mg daily or 25 mg daily. The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily in the morning, taken with or without food. If tolerated initially, dosing may increase up to 25 mg. Correct volume depletion, if present, before starting the drug. 

Do not take Empcogliptin I if you are on dialysis.

Do not take Empcogliptin if you are allergic to linagliptin, empagliflozin, or any of the ingredients in Empcogliptin.
